All student employment positions require:
- Current job description adhering to the Job Description Guidelines which require a Sample Job Description
- Budget approval by the Business Office.
- Existing positions were reviewed and assigned a wage grade (spring 2023).
- New Student Employment Position Requests must be completed prior to position posting.
- Position posted on Handshake to ensure equal access to all students. When candidates are equally qualified, preference should be given first to students with federal work study and then to international students. If you are unsure of each candidate’s status, contact career development to request a look up.
