Augustana-St. Ambrose (SAU) MS-Exercise Physiology (MSEP)
Academic/Application Requirements:
- Students who will have earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a 3.25 GPA or higher in their Kinesiology and overall coursework are eligible to apply for admission to the Master of Science in Exercise Physiology at SAU.
- SAU will accept up to eight credits of undergraduate coursework (listed below) to satisfy specific course requirements for the MSEP:
- KINS 330 Biomechanics
- KINS 380 Special Topics
- BIOL 358 Neuroanatomy
- The GRE is not required for admission to the MSEP via this agreement.
- Students must complete all of the following prerequisite and admissions requirements (with the exception of the GRE):
- Human Anatomy-BIOL 351
- Human Physiology-BIOL 362
- Physics (including Newtonian mechanics)-PHYS 151
- Exercise Physiology-KINS 300
- 2 letters of recommendation-one must be from a current or former professor
- Personal statement: a brief introduction of yourself and why you are pursuing this degree along with what has prepared you for the program.
- Applicants should apply to SAU for acceptance into the program by January 31st of their last year at Augustana.
