“I think this is a great program for students to explore potential career paths that their liberal arts education can take them. Networking can often be awkward and scary but this is a good platform for students to reach out to someone that they know is willing to help out.

I noticed that there’s currently a gap in Viking Connections mentors in the field of federal public service. After a few years in different government agencies I think that I can be a good resource for students who would like to know more about working for the federal government and the steps to take to get started.”
