We’re looking for a Recruiter to help us build the talented teams that support our growing organization. In this role, you’ll build relationships with candidates, identify and engage top talent, partner closely with hiring leaders, and help create a recruiting experience that attracts people who are passionate about making a difference for children and families.
As a Recruiter, you’ll manage the full recruiting process for your assigned centers and roles while serving as a trusted talent partner to operational leaders. You’ll use your recruiting expertise, market knowledge, and relationship-building skills to develop talent pipelines, solve hiring challenges, and help our centers find the people they need to thrive.
What You’ll Do & How You’ll Succeed
Your ability to connect with people, prioritize competing needs, and keep the hiring process moving will directly contribute to our success.
- Build talent pipelines: Source, identify, and engage qualified candidates through applications, referrals, networking, outreach, and other recruiting channels. You know how to find talent beyond the applicant pool and adapt your approach to the needs of each role and market.
- Create a strong candidate experience: Build meaningful relationships with candidates, conduct effective screening conversations, provide timely follow-up, and communicate clearly throughout the hiring process. You represent the organization with professionalism and enthusiasm at every interaction.
- Partner with hiring leaders: Build trusted relationships with Center Directors, Operations leaders, and HR partners to understand staffing needs, provide recruiting insight, and develop solutions to hiring challenges.
- Manage a high-volume recruiting process: Effectively prioritize multiple requisitions, candidates, interviews, and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and consistent follow-through. You are comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Assess for skills and fit: Use strong questioning, listening, and judgment skills to understand a candidate’s experience, capabilities, and potential, and determine alignment with the needs of the role within the organization.
- Use recruiting technology effectively: Navigate ATS and other recruiting tools to manage candidate activity, maintain accurate records, coordinate interviews, and keep hiring teams informed. You are comfortable learning new systems and adapting to evolving processes.
- Solve recruiting challenges: Recognize barriers to hiring and take initiative to address them. You use market knowledge, creative sourcing strategies, and data or recruiting insights to adjust your approach and improve results.
- Contribute to a high-performing team: Share ideas, support team priorities, and continuously look for ways to improve recruiting processes, candidate engagement, and hiring outcomes.
