Schedule an Appointment
Career coaching is a student-centered partnership between student and career coach designed to assist the student in developing career management skills while meeting the student’s career and vocational goals.
Individual career coaching appointments are available to students and recent graduates regarding all areas of career planning and preparation. Appointments can be scheduled online through Handshake, our online career platform.
How to make an appointment
- Sign into Handshake with your Augustana email and password (what you use to access Arches etc.)
- On the top, you will see “Career Center” – click the “Appointments”
- On the next page, you will see a blue button on the top that says “Schedule a New Appointment” – click that
- Select the Appointment Category that best fits your goal for the meeting
- Pick a field of interest and you will be connected to the appropriate Career Coach or professional
