Teach for America: Teach For America is a leadership development organization for those who want to co-create a more just world alongside young people in their communities. Today we are a network of nearly 70,000 leaders who started in the classroom and remain in lifelong pursuit of the vision that one day, all children will have the opportunity to attain an excellent education.
Match Corps: A yearlong education fellowship. Match Corps Members tutor small groups of students in grades 6-12 and partner closely with families. Tutors are integral members of high-performing school teams in some of the best schools in America and discover what it takes to change the lives of kids.
ACE Teaching Fellows: A two-year graduate teaching fellowship and formation experience in which participants serve in under-resourced Catholic schools while also earning a cost-free M.Ed. from the University of Notre Dame
LU Choice – Loyola University Chicago Opportunities in Catholic Education: A teacher formation program dedicated to Catholic education. The two-year field-based program provides participants with full scholarships as they complete their master’s degrees in elementary education and gain Illinois certification.
Magis Catholic Teacher Corps at Creighton: Magis recruits college graduates who view education as their vocation and their ministry. In a spirit of service, our teachers respond to the question “what more can I do for Christ?” by making a two-year commitment to teach in Catholic schools. During these two years, teachers live together in intentional community as they pursue educational and spiritual development.
University Consortium for Catholic Education: Consisting of fourteen programs, placing over 400 teachers in Catholic/parochial schools in approximately 24 states each year. The UCCE has created an innovative community of Catholic universities committed to the service of children
in PK-12 Catholic/parochial schools.
Operation TEACH: A post-graduate, service opportunity for educators to make an impact on students in Baltimore area Catholic Schools while embarking on a transformative personal and professional journey. Operation TEACH participants commit to the two-year service program while they are enrolled in a graduate program at Notre Dame of Maryland University and complete a Master of Arts in Education.
Maȟpíya Lúta (formerly the Red Cloud Indian School): Maȟpíya Lúta (formerly the Red Cloud Indian School) volunteers provide many educational and related services to the students at Maȟpíya Lúta Owáyawa, while contributing to the economic sustainability and overall well-being of the school. Volunteers bring with them their diverse educational, cultural, and spiritual backgrounds, sharing this gift with the students and community.
