Music Instructor – iPlay® Job Description:
§ iPlay® is one of our initiatives that gives low-income, minority, and underserved (LIMU) K-12th grade students the opportunity to learn a new instrument who may otherwise have no such opportunity.
§ The instructor will hold classes on the weekends in a remote environment (Microsoft Teams and/or Zoom) during the Spring and Fall sessions (March-June and September-December, respectively).
§ Each instructor is responsible for developing their own curriculum for the iPlay® program, with consideration of their students’ strengths and weaknesses.
§ POWER provides students with college credit for internship positions.
Requesting Instructors of the following Musical Instrument:
§ Clarinet
§ Drum
§ Flute
§ Guitar (Stringed)
§ Piano
§ Recorder (Kindergarten Flute/Clarinet Students)
§ Saxophone (Teaches ONLY Grades: 4-12)
§ Violin
§ Voice/Vocals
