Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Design Quality Engineer located in Reynosa.
Reporting to the Quality Manager the Design Quality Engineer’s role involves:
What a typical day looks like:
- Ensure that the customer requirements are met and demonstrated though
- Validation planning
- Product assurance planning
- Asist in determining validation requirements and manufacturing change requests.
- Communicate and resolve validation with customers.
- Participating in the Engineering Gate Review Process.
- Experience with key tools: APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, Control Plan, and PFMEA.
- Experience in 8D leadership. Problem-solving analysis (proposing solutions).
- Experience with multitasking, prioritization skills, and schedule management.
- Experience with GD&T.
- Experience in Automotive Industry (desirable)
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Intermediate English
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Initiates and leads the corrective action process as required and assists with the problem-solving process and tools. (i.e. 6Sigma, and Tier 1 requirements).
- Confers with engineers about quality assurance of new product designs,
- Supports manufacturing sites regarding existing product quality and helps to resolve issues.
