Autumn Durald Arkapaw has played a significant role in shaping the look of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She was the cinematographer for the critically-acclaimed Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and the Disney+ series Loki. Her credits also include a documentary on the Beastie Boys and music videos for Rihanna and Arcade Fire. In this course adapted from the Design Better podcast, Autumn talks about her creative process, including any rules she has (and when she breaks them), the overlap between photography and design, and how technology—including AI—and pre-visualization are changing the process of making films and television.
