| Jaxx Artz has spent almost her entire career working for nonprofits, and she wouldn’t change it for anything. The work they do—preserving open spaces, advocating for trans rights, welcoming refugees, and fighting for education equity—makes our communities and world stronger. But right now, the nonprofit sector is facing immense challenges. Many organizations, large and small, are struggling. Some are being targeted for their missions, while others are experiencing funding gaps that threaten their ability to operate. If it feels like the landscape is shifting every day, that’s because it is. That’s why now, more than ever, we need to show up.
