Over the summer, I had the chance to take Dr Joe McDowell’s Intro to Irish Lit class. During this trip, we were taken to historical sites such as Glendalough, the Cliff of Moher, Inishmore, Sligo Abbey, Kilmainham Gaol, Newgrange and many other historical and significant locations.
In addition to visiting these sites, we also visited multiple locations that have become a staple in many examples of Irish Literature such as Trinity College, Dublin Castle, James Joyce’s Tower, St Patrick’s Cathedral and St Stephen’s Green. During this trip, we traveled from Sligo to Galway to Dublin over a three week period!
