¡Hola from Costa Rica! My name is Luke Vega and I am a rising senior at Augie majoring in biology on a pre-veterinary medicine track. Leaving the country was something I never thought I’d be comfortable doing but here I am! I did not want to miss out on a wonderful opportunity that Augie has to offer. I arrived to San Jose on the 4th of July and the past few days I have just been getting acclimated to the country and my host family. I will be interning at small animal hospitals, farms, as well as an exotic rehab center while simultaneously learning about a new culture this month! The food is amazing and the people are so sweet.
