Grad Days 2023

The countdown to graduation is on! All graduating students are required to attend Grad Days.

Prior to graduation, all students planning to graduate must complete a number of activities prior to graduation

As the Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2023 approaches, we want to ensure that your graduation experience is as smooth and efficient as possible. Several offices have teamed up to offer you a one-stop shop to complete most, if not all, of the items required for commencement at Grad Prep Days.

Attending Grad Prep Days will allow you to take care of multiple requirements in one place, including picking up your cap and gown, collecting your earned Viking Score rewards, getting your picture taken by CORE to share your post-grad plans on social media, completing your financial aid Exit Counseling, and letting the Provost know how to correctly pronounce your name.

Grad Prep Days at Lindberg’s Murabito Commons:

  • Monday, May 1, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, May 2, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Before you can attend the commencement ceremony and receive your cap and gown, you are required to attend Grad Prep Days to complete a series of requirements. Depending on how many requirements you have completed ahead of time, plan to spend between 20 minutes and 60 minutes at Grad Prep Days. Please note that you will not be able to pick up your cap and gown without having completed all required tasks, some of which can be done ahead of time.

If you are unable to attend Grad Prep Days, you can designate someone to pick up your cap and gown on your behalf, but only if you have completed all the requirements.

To prepare for Grad Prep Days, please make sure to bring your student ID or driver’s license for identification purposes. We also recommend reviewing the list of requirements beforehand to determine which tasks can be completed prior to the event, saving you time.

Congratulations once again on your upcoming graduation, and we look forward to seeing you at Grad Prep Days!
