Student Outcomes are part of an annual First Destination Survey administered for each graduating class. Data collected includes what students are doing within 6 months of graduation. Data is collected through a collaboration between Institutional Research and Career Development and is captured through several means including senior survey responses, first destination survey responses, online searches, faculty/staff requests, and phone calling.
Outcomes for students with more than one major are included in each major report. For example, if a student majored in both Music and Psychology, their outcome is accounted for in both majors when the drop-down menu is selected. Over 2/3 of Augustana students have more than one major.
